In terms of ethics, higher Buddhist ethical systems,
but morality is only the beginning not the end of
Buddhism. Buddhism certainly
contains great moral principles, unequaled in the wonderful success and its
altruistic attitude. Buddhism promotes a way of life for the world ordained
and lay on the other hand the world, but also a special Buddhist teachings than
a conventional morality. Morality is only the preparatory stage for the pure
path, and it is a means to self-cure, but it is not the ultimate. Virtue though essential, is
not sufficient in itself to make people gain liberation. Virtue must be coupled
with the knowledge or wisdom (Panonoa). The foundation of Buddhist ethics, and Buddhism is
the pinnacle of wisdom.
Follow these principles,
the Buddhists do not pay attention to yourself, but also pay attention to
others, even to the species animals. Buddhist morality is not based on the Enlightenment
suspicious of Heaven, nor y on the miraculous invention of a super Vietnamese
minds, but it is a reasonable principles and practices, based on verifiable
facts and experiences of individuals.
It should be noted that there is any external
supernatural engine does play a role to cast up the personality of a Buddhist.
In Buddhism
there is no reward or punishment for no one. Suffering and happiness are the result of
course everyone's behavior. Problem suffering or happiness arranged by God, not
in the mind of a Buddhist. Not because the engine is entitled hope or fear being
punished, that Buddhists do good to avoid evil. A Buddhist sense of the
future consequences should avoid doing evil - evil because work will hinder
enlightenment and do good, because good deeds will help to enlightenment (bodhi)
quickly. There are also some who do good, because it is good,
avoid evil, because it is bad.
To understand the extraordinary ethical standards
expected by the Buddha in his ideal disciple, who I have read the classics:
Dhammapada (Dhammapada) telescope Born (Sigālovāda Sutta Sutta), Vyagghapajja
Sutta, Mangala Sutta, Karaniya Sutta Sutta, Parabhava Sutta, Vasala Sutta Sutta,
Dhammika Sutta etc ...
In terms of ethics,
Buddhism higher other ethical systems, but morality is only the beginning, not
the end of Buddhism.
In a certain sense,
Buddhism is not a philosophy, but in another sense it is Buddhist philosophy the
philosophy.
In this sense, Buddhism
is not a religion, but in a different sense, Buddhism is the religion of
religions.
Buddhism is not a
religion metaphysics, nor a biased direction rituals.
Buddhism not as cynical, nor dogmatic.
Buddhism is not a stoic life, nor bohemian lifestyle.
Buddhism is not optimistic nor pessimistic.
Buddhism not the eternal doctrine, nor nihilism.
Buddhism is not completely related to this world, nor
of any other world.
Buddhism is the only path
to enlightenment.
According to the literal
meaning of The original Pali, the Buddhist Dharma, which means support.
English has
no word equivalent to exactly translate the meaning of the Pali word.
France (Dhamma) is something real. France is a theory of
reality. It
is a means to liberate suffering and liberation is legal. Though they may appear or
not, the French still exists. France obscured under the eyes of men, till a Buddha,
an enlightened one who attained the legal and compassionate approach to reveal
the human race.
France is not something
outside the self that intimate relationship with self, as the Buddha encouraged:
"Let's dwell in himself as an island. Let's dwell in himself as a refuge place.
Do not seek
refuge in outer space. "(Parinibbana Sutta).END=VIETNAMESE TRANSLATE ENGLISH BY=THICH CHAN TANH.THE MIND OF ENLIGHTMENT.WORLD VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST ORDER=VIETNAMESE BUDDHIST NUN=GOLDEN LOTUS MONASTERY=THE EIGHTOLD PATH.AUSTRALIA,SYDNEY.15/2/2015.
