Middle Nikaya Majjhima Nikaya

132. Japan Economic Ananda sage (Anandabhaddekaratta Sutta).


Thus have I heard.
Another time, Bhagavan at Savatthi (Xa-defense), Jetavana (America-did), in Anathapindika his Vihara (Anathapindika).
At that time, Venerable Ananda (Ananda) in town hall presentations, incentives, making excited, make happy the monks for the sermon. Then Bhagavan told Venerable Ananda:
- But how is Ananda, He pursued marketing, incentives, making excited, make happy the monks to lecture? He may have preached Circuit Yes sage, general and special theories theory?
- Yes, venerable sir, the market has spoken, encouraging, making excited, make happy the monks for the sermon. Son Nhut appeared Imitation preached, general and special theories theory:
Past no trace
no desire future.
The past was total annihilation,
the less future,
only the present legal
Wisdom here.
Do not work, do not shake
Knowing this, should practice,
Heat Today making center,
who knows die tomorrow?
No one is negotiated,
with army death,
Resident so zealous,
untiring night date,
Worthy called supreme Hien,
Tier calm, quiet.
This and the sage, how is tracing the past? He thought: "That's my identity in the past", and tracing the joy in it; "So my life in the past", and tracing the joy in it; "That was my idea in the past", and tracing the joy in it; "So my practice in the past", and tracing the joy of it, "So, is my knowledge in the past", and tracing the joy in it. Thus, this sage, is tracing the past.
This and the sage, how was not tracing the past? He thought: "That's my identity in the past", and no trace of joy in it; "So my life in the past", and no trace of joy in it; "That was my idea ... So my issue ... Such is my understanding of the past", and no trace of her joy. Thus, this sage, is not traced past.
This and the sage, how future aspirations? He thought: "Hopefully this will be my best in the future", and tracing the joy in it; "We hope that this will be my future life", and tracing the joy in it; "Hopefully this is my idea ... is my issue ... is the future of my knowledge", and tracing the joy in it. Thus, this sage is desire in the future.
This and the sage, how is no desire in the future? He thought: "Hopefully this will be my best in the future", and no trace of joy in it; "We hope that this will be my future life", and no trace of joy in it; "Hopefully this will be a great ... would be an act ... will be my food in the future," and no trace of her joy. Thus, this sage is not future aspirations.
This and the sage, how is drawn in the current law?
